- 15 Ounces can tomato sauce
- 2 Teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 - ½ cups Biscuit baking mix
- 1 env active dry yeast
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup dried minced onion
- 2/3 cup hot water (120 to 130 degrees)
- Toppings of your choice
Preparation
Stir tomato sauce, onion, oregano and garlic powder in a mixing bowl. Combine baking mix and yeast in a large mixing bowl. Add water gradually and stir with a spoon until thoroughly blended. Turn out onto a clean, well floured surface and knead. Allow dough to rest for 5 minutes and then divide into equal parts. Shape one part into a ball and place in the center of a baking sheet. Roll out ¼ inch thick and pinch the edges to make a crust around them. Top with sauce mixture and then add cheese and toppings. Bake at 425 degrees about 15 minutes. Repeat with other dough balls.
